SMART – Denver Airport Remodel

Denver International Airport is in the midst of a major multi-year renovation. As with most renovations of spaces that continue to operate during construction, it will disrupt many travelers.

While most travelers are looking forward to the improvements when they are completed, the renovations can negatively affect the reputation of the airport with travelers.

No matter how much care the construction team takes to make it as easy as possible for the public, traveling can be stressful and any change or inconvenience adds to that stress.

Denver International Airport was very smart in how they took a fun, lighthearted approach to the project. The Denver airport has been the focus of many conspiracy stories for years. They took the conspiracy idea and ran with it.

In addition to a series of attention getting posters throughout the airport, they also created a fun website

What a smart way to reduce the stress and maintain support for the project.
